By request, Ms Simone Triche will gain lead an introductory contemporary workshop, focused at dancers with less than one year of Contemporary class work. This class will introduce you to new techniques and moves, help you connect to your emotions through dance, and learn new choreography and combinations. Class will begin with a full warm-up, proceed with technical progressions across the floor, and will conclude with combination work.
Ms Triche started dancing at the age of 3 at Elite School of Dance in Puyallup, WA. For ten years, Simone was enrolled in classes for ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop and gymnastics. At the age of 13, Simone started competitive cheerleading, which includes elements of dance and gymnastics. Simone was a part of South Elite All Stars in Kent, WA for 5 years and had the opportunity to participate in national and world dance and cheer competitions in Portland, Dallas, Los Angeles and Orlando.
Simone studied dance and American Sign Language at the University of Washington. Simone is now completing a teaching degree in math at Western Governor’s University. In 2012, Simone became a dancer at Le Faux, Seattle’s longest running celebrity impersonation show. In her years at Le Faux she became the dance captain and her choreography was featured in the performances. Simone started dancing in 3rd Shift, a contemporary jazz dance company, in 2013. Simone performs with 3rd shift at numerous performances around the Pacific Northwest and California. Simone also backup dances for Fly Moon Royalty with 3rd shift dance and has been featured in various concerts as well as television appearances.
