Scholarship Requests

The Seattle Civic Dance Theatre scholarship program has been reducing tuition costs for dancers for more than 10 years.

The program is needs based. It is our intention to provide some assistance to all who submit requests by the deadline, but we are limited in the financial assistance from our community and are not always able to fund full requests. When this is the case, we will take into consideration the longevity of the dancer’s history with us as well as promoting all forms of diversity in our dance community.

Families are asked to cover the first month of each term, and then award will cover the remaining months of the term. For families for whom this is a hardship, please notate on the application.

First Semester:  September – December.  Application Deadline:  October 1^st, 2018
Second semester:  January – June.  Application Deadline:  January 1^st, 2019
Summer term:  July – August. Application Deadline June 1^st, 2019
